Following the publication of our latest KHS newsletter last week, announcing my appointment as the new Headteacher of King Henry School, I wanted to get in touch with you all ahead of the May half-term.

Dear Parents and Carers
As we approach half term, it is a good time for us to pause and consider the situation we currently find ourselves in and the journey we’ve taken over the last couple of months.
I realise how difficult the lockdown is for many families and that, particularly for some of you, the strain on home-life will have been especially challenging. We thank you for your continued support and efforts at home in ensuring that our students continue to be working and thinking hard. I am very grateful to our staff who have also worked tirelessly to make our remote provision a success during this period of lockdown.
I am delighted to have been appointed as the new Headteacher of King Henry School. It is an absolute privilege to have been asked to lead the school into the next phase of its improvement and growth. This Handbook sets out the basic use of Teams, as a student you will see individual Teams that have been setup as digital classrooms and will appear based on your assigned school timetable.
You will have the ability to interact with your teachers, view resources via the File Library and complete assignments. The Handbook will guide you through the process of accessing your lessons and completing assignments set out by your teachers.
