Students who have difficulty logging on to their Office 365 account through the link on the website should access this account through a Google Chrome search for Office 365. This will take them to the login page for them to access their account. Alternatively, they can download the App which will also enable them to log in.

In this bulletin we have included some key information for you. As you will know from the Prime Minister’s announcement, we are all now instructed to stay at home unless absolutely necessary. This of course applies to your children. Please avoid them having friends around or meeting in groups. This may be a challenge but it is also a learning opportunity.

Dear Parents and Carers 

Firstly, thank you to parents and carers who have followed the Government advice and kept their children at home today. Please continue to do so for theirs and others safety during this pandemic. The schools in the Trust have arrangements in place for the children of key workers who have no alternative childcare and vulnerable children. These arrangements follow guidance on social distancing and handwashing. Any students who come to school and exhibit symptoms will be sent home once parents have been contacted.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We now have some clarity with reference to the provision for children of key workers. Before reading the list, please be mindful of the following:
You will see that the list encompasses a large number of people. There is further guidance that also says:
Children with at least one parent or carer who are identified as critical workers by the government can send their children to school if required.

Year 13


Today will be the students’ last day for the foreseeable future and it is with regret that we cannot provide them with a leavers’ assembly or any of the usual traditions. We want to reassure you that in the future, when it is possible, we will have a formal gathering to celebrate all Year 13 have achieved.

Further to the most recent announcement from the Secretary of State for Education, the Government has announced that, for most UK students, schools will be closed from Monday 23rd March onwards. This means that Friday 20th March will be our last day.

Operation Encompass


King Henry School have been given the opportunity to take part in a project that will run jointly between schools and the Metropolitan Police Service.  This project is known as Operation Encompass.

Change to the School Lunch Time during Exams


For the duration of the next mock GCSE examination session which takes place in the week commencing 11 March 2019, there will be a change to the timing of the lunch break. This does not affect the length of the school day or the start and finish times.
