Safeguarding against harmful situations
12th March 2019
At King Henry School, we continue to ensure that all students are safeguarded against situations which may lead to harm.
We want all students to be informed of possible dangers and risks that could affect them in school, within the local community and within society.
Through the delivery of a series of sessions in assemblies and during PSHE lessons, issues such as knife crime, drugs and alcohol, will be tackled and discussed at age-appropriate times with our students.
We will continue to use random bag searches using police wands in school and look to work with outside agencies, such as the police, to ensure students are safe within school and allowing students to become familiarised with processes that are used to manage safety in the wider community.
Further information regarding safeguarding can be found on the school website.
