Information in quotation marks (and italics) in linked pdf are direct quotations from the guidance issued by Ofqual to ‘centres’.
What are all schools required to do to support examination boards in determining examination grades?
“Exam boards will ask exam centres to generate, for each subject, centre assessment grades for their students, and then to rank order the students within each of those grades”.
One centre assessed grade will be issued for each student in each of their subjects. This is the grade most likely to have been achieved if they had completed their examination and NEA.
Evidence for this grade can will come from Classwork, Bookwork, Performances, Mock Exams, Assignments, Assessments, Non-Examined Assessment marks
